the staff were kind and professional, a detail i appreciated. my room, a suite, was spacious. the bed had soft sheets and i found it very comfortable. breakfast had many choices and was very convenient.

The metro train runs right below the hotel. I could hear it. the rattling went on until 1 am every night. it was completely unacceptable.

The hotel provided a welcome drink upon arrival. I chose a glass of local wine! the bathroom featured a double sink and a spacious shower. It helped a lot to be faster in the morning.

The television remote in my room needed new batteries. It was a small inconvenience.

I found sleep difficult. The subway runs right under the hotel. It was quite noticeable even on a higher floor. The air conditioning was also not working .

strange window

The shower had this strange window into the room. A blind was there, but honestly, frosted glass seems necessary. Housekeeping showed up whenever they seemed like it, usually after 5 PM. It was a bit late. I mean, who needs turndown service right after they finally clean the room?
